Jennifer Brandel | CEO & Co-Founder, Hearken | Mar. 2018
"I recommend Malii's genius design skills for human interaction and improvement for any occasion, but especially the complex kind. My employees had nothing but great things to say about their work with her, and only wish they had more time to learn from and with her expert guidance. Malii is a master architect of human interaction. She creates structures for information, emotion and energy to flow between varying personalities that leaves everyone feeling better equipped to be their best. Her authenticity, humor and heart shine through, disarming and winning over even the fiercest of skeptics. Malii listens closely. She does everything with clear intention and integrity, making sure that she understands what's needed at every level, and responds and delivers accordingly. She generates a warm, welcoming and exciting environment that allows people to be vulnerable and challenge their ways of being. In a mere 8 hours, she had our team laughing, coming to profound realizations, and even shedding tears (the good kind)."

"I’ve had (and still have) the immense pleasure to work with Malii Watts Witten in four different professional areas. In every single one she excelled.
- Trainer: Malii has worked as a trainer with our company intercultures on a variety of occasions and settings, both face-to-face and online. For one of our large global customers she designed and delivered custom-made online modules on general intercultural competence to more than 500 participants. As a trainer in face-to-face settings, she worked with different target groups for a range of clients, both in the US and in Mexico.
- Project Manager: For one year, Malii acted as a project manager for two major research and development project with intercultures and Learning.de. One was on inte"rnational feedback practices, one on developing organizational culture through meetings. In both projects, she managed to be both supportive and organized, but in the right moments also challenging and leading progress.
- Online Community Manager: Malii has served as one of four community managers in the LinkedIn online community “Closeness at a Distance”, a community for global professionals interested in or working with the topic of virtual management, for three years. In this function, she very much helped to bring the community forward and keep it alive.
- Global Communications Manager: This has been Malii’s main professional role over the last three years and hopefully continues to be in the next years. For intercultures, she manages our global consultant pool of 150 world-class trainers, coaches, consultants, facilitators. Her function includes the search for and onboarding of new consultants, standardizing selection processes, creating a joint culture of professional caring and sharing across a distance, create a knowledge network, and to communicate our professional topics to the world through our bi-monthly newsletter. From August on, she will also create regular webinars.
