Recommendations for EngageBetween
Courtney Durham | Development Manager, mRelief | Apr. 2025
"I look forward to every coaching session with Malii because no matter how scattered I feel when I show up, I know I will leave with practical takeaways and action plans that genuinely help me to re-engage with my work and (when possible) take the extra steps to improve it. I leave sessions with Malii with so much clarity and direction because she meets me where I'm at and helps me draw my own roadmap to where I want to be. I am so grateful for her guidance and empathy, especially as I face the uncertainty of working in the social impact space right now. Malii has helped me prioritize what is achievable and ground myself in the powerful impact I can make right now. She is one of the greatest resources our organization has!"
Belinda Rodriguez | Product Manager, mRelief | Mar. 2025
"I feel so grateful to have Malii available to me as a coach. She has a knack for finding the thread between individual and organizational well-being and success, and has been an invaluable resource to help me and my organization build resilience through challenges. I always look forward for our sessions and consistently walk away feeling refocused and energized around the things that matter most."
Kaori Freda | Operations Manager | Feb. 2025
"Malii offered my team and I invaluable and strategic guidance. Malii brought her wisdom, curiosity, and care on board during a tumultuous time at the company - the company was going through a merger, leadership was assessing mid-pandemic budget cuts, and rebooting the customer success department. Malii has a masterful grasp of relationship dynamics and offered her advice & executive coaching as I navigated collaboration and conflict with other department leads. She also came in with her wealth of DEI experience to change the company culture for the better. Malii worked hand in hand with members of the consulting services team to deliver solutions to our customers in higher education and media spaces. I very much appreciate her democratic approach to finding solutions to root problems, her sensitivity to who has a seat at the table and looping in those that are missing from the table, and the way she exercises her empathy in every interaction. I would highly recommend working with her and would be delighted to work with her again in the future."
Kavya Sukumar | Principal & CTO - India, Lightrock India | Feb. 2025
"Malii possesses an exceptional ability to create inclusive spaces. As a coach, she brings out the best in people.
I was fortunate to participate in quite a few workshops and sessions facilitated by Malii. What I appreciated the most about her approach is that she doesn't shy away from complex and thorny topics around DEI, and identities. She handles it with sensitivity and gets her mentees and session participants to introspect and contemplate perspectives very different from their own.
Her passion for her work, her wealth of experience, and her deep expertise shine through in every interaction you have with her.
Above all, she is a warm and fun person who is a joy to work with."
Ashley Anthony | Product Design Manager, mRelief | Feb. 2025

My employees had nothing but great things to say about their work with her, and only wish they had more time to learn from and with her expert guidance. Malii is a master architect of human interaction. She creates structures for information, emotion and energy to flow between varying personalities that leaves everyone feeling better equipped to be their best. Her authenticity, humor and heart shine through, disarming and winning over even the fiercest of skeptics. Malii listens closely. She does everything with clear intention and integrity, making sure that she understands what's needed at every level, and responds and delivers accordingly.
